Internet Brands, Inc.
As a Project Manager at Internet Brands I’ve been responsible for leading an agile team of local and international web developers and QA engineers on projects such as the migration of websites to a new framework, maintaining and improving proprietary applications, UI/UX development of websites and admin portals, updating products/services to meet legal compliance, designing solutions for improved security, API development, CRM integration, email automation, content management and responding to support tickets.
I’ve also taken on the role of SCRUM master during our daily stand ups and routinely work closely with product managers, designers, content managers, and members of our marketing and business team to outline specs, evaluate project schedules and determine the resources required to maintain product standards that meet company expectations.
My work with AEC ranges from basic website maintenance to development of new Wordpress websites and templates for email campaigns. AEC is a boutique marketing firm that provides web-hosting, marketing solutions and growth strategies for primarily small to mid-size firms across multiple industries including insurance, wealth management, law, real-estate, & construction. Depending on the needs of a client, I will coordinate with CEO and marketing expert John Surge to plan and execute a project within the allowed time and resource constraints. My experience and knowledge in web development are key factors I bring to AEC and in the situations, were a third contractor in charge of doing actual development is brought in, Mr. Surge will rely on my evaluation of the work being done for the project or request my direct assistance with higher level administrative tasks such as provisioning new webhosting accounts under AEC’s WHM/cPanel Dashboard. Periodically, I am also in charge of doing basic maintenance on hosted websites or accounts and actively working on development projects that require a quick turn-around time.
Bryson Financial, LLC
As web administrator for Bryson Financial, I have been the primary point of contact for tasks or questions related to web and online marketing. It was my primary responsibility to upload and update content as well as troubleshoot technical issues with the company’s websites and social media accounts.
As designer I was responsible for creating online and printed material such as ads, posters, flyers, company documents and HTML emails; often working closely with Bryson Financial’s CEO, Trent Bryson, and the rest of the management team to develop and launch promotional and informative campaigns.
As a small business, Bryson Financial relies on external web services and tools to provide clients with the information and services they are looking for. Therefore, on a more managerial level my responsibilities also included researching new tools, setting up demos, providing training and suggesting direction to the executive team regarding Bryson Financial’s online marketing strategy.
